The Great Commission:

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Out of our love for God and people, our mission as individuals and as a church is to "Attract the World to Christ" by fulfilling the Great Commission. This September, we are planning a series that is designed to introduce non-Christians to a relationship with Christ. It will be a great opportunity to invite your friends to church.

For some of us, inviting a friend to church can be daunting. How do you start? And what if you don’t have non-Christian friends to invite? That’s why we’ve created the “Roadmap to Outreach.” It’s a practical reminder how to build meaningful relationships with others. Now is the perfect time to start building relationships with new friends.

  1. FOCUS ON PRAYER: Prayer is the first step in attracting others to Christ.
  2. BUILD NEW RELATIONSHIPS: Find creative ways to build friendships with people outside of your Christian circles.
  3. DO ACTS OF KINDNESS: Look and listen for opportunities to serve your new friends according to their needs.
  4. INVITE NEW FRIENDS TO CHURCH: Bring your new friends to church and encourage them to join you in small group.
